Adopt An Angel For Salvation Army

Posted: Wed 6:34 PM, Dec 05, 2012

The Salvation Army needs your help in bringing Christmas cheer to children in need.

The Adopt An Angel program makes opening presents possible for those in Gadsden, Leon and Wakulla counties. The names can be picked up at the Governor's Square Mall. When you pick a name you can buy a gift for a child in that age group. You can also drop your gift off at the same place.

More than 1,500 names are needing to be adopted and the Salvation Army is asking for help in buying those gifts

"Right now, just 400 has been adopted so we are making an appeal to the community to come together with us and adopt the last angels," said Salvation Army Captain Julio Da Silva.

You have another two weeks to help fill need for presents this holiday season.
