Even though the 'Noles and Rattlers reside in Tallahassee, you may sometimes see a Gator among us... a real alligator, that is.
Residents and passing cars at the Woodbriar Community saw the scaly reptile in their neighborhood today. The alligator resides in the pond inside the community, but according to passersby, today it was crossing the street and roaming the sidewalk.
"I looked in the pond and I said, 'That's a gator in the pond! What is that doing in there?' I was just fascinated, really, to tell you the truth. Not afraid, but I don't live here, so naturally I wouldn't be afraid," said Tenicia Colvin.
The gator is still in the Woodbriar Community pond.
