Tallahassee, FL (April 3, 2014)— The American Lung Association in Florida (ALAF) is pleased to be the first Charity Walk at beautiful Cascades Park. The 12th Annual Lung Walk is scheduled for Saturday, May 31st at 9:00 am. Walkers will meet at Centennial Field and enjoy a two (2) mile walk around the park. This is a family friendly, tobacco free event.
“Walking on the fitness trails at Cascades Park is a great way to support the thousands of people in our community who have been diagnosed with lung disease. Join us in raising awareness and funds to fight lung disease,” says Commissioner Gil Ziffer, ALAF Leadership Board President.
Each year, too many lives are lost to lung disease and this is your chance to walk, raise money and make an impact in their honor. By joining the Lung Walk you are making the commitment to fight lung disease so everyone can breathe easier- including you!
