Tallahassee, FL - It's quickly becoming a popular fundraiser across the country and the American Lung Association is jumping on board.

They hosted a Cheers for Charity Pub Crawl tonight to raise funds for the programs they offer as well as work on advocacy and do research.

Tickets were $25 or $30 at the door and the Cheers for Charity Pub Crawl will travel to area bars like Midtown Filling Station, Taco Republik, Madison Social and Krewe De Gras.

"Really excited so far we've had a great turn out a lot of support. We've even had some individuals who don't want to participate in the crawl because they didn't plan for it donating money," said Yolando Robles, Development Coordinator for American Lung Association of Florida.

With the first pub crawl marked as a success the organization said they are planning another one for next year.
