The cold rain did not dampen the warm spirits of the people of Madison County welcoming a new business.
On Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 5:30 PM Annett Bus Lines held their grand opening ribbon cutting at their new facility located between Madison and Lee on the I-10 corridor.
Brian Annett, President of the company, explained to the crowd that the business began in Sebring, Florida in 1976 by the efforts of his father and now he and his brother operate the business.
The location in Madison County will serve the northern section of their customer base and currently employs six full-time workers. Their work force is expected to expand to 15 or 20 personnel and act as the statewide refurbishing center for all their coaches in the future.
City and County officials are excited to see this business expansion in a rural area of north Florida.
