Armed Robbery at Local Gift Shop

Marianna, FL -- August 4, 2012

Officers of the Marianna Police Department responded to 4496 Lafayette St. Marianna, Fl. 32446, The Decorator’s Door, in reference to a report of a strong armed robbery of the store. The clerk on duty described the suspect as a white male, bald, with some facial hair, and a lot of tattoos on his arms and legs. She said he was wearing a gray Florida gators shirt, khaki shorts and tan skate shoes. The suspect came in the store walked around, left the store and returned shortly thereafter.

Upon entering the store the second time he walked up to the clerk demanding the money from the register. The clerk gave the suspect the money from the register, and the suspect left the store with the contents of the cash register, after telling the clerk to go to the back of the store. When the suspect drove away he left in a pewter colored 4 door pickup truck.
