Bauch Named EMS Administrative Chief

Valdosta, GA - David Bauch, MPA, RN, BSN, EMT-P has been named Administrative Chief of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for South Georgia Medical Center and its affiliated campuses. Bauch will fill the role formerly held by longtime EMS Chief Tim Brogdon, who recently retired.

His job responsibilities include 24/7 oversight for the Mobile Health Care Service Department (EMS), which includes approximately 75 employees and five EMS stations located throughout Lowndes County.
Bauch most recently served as Deputy Chief for EMS General Operations since December 1998. He has 18 years of EMS leadership experience and has been employed with South Georgia Medical Center since 1986.

His prior leadership positions include: Supervisor of Special Transport, Outpatient / Non-Emergency, South Georgia Medical Center; EMS District Chief, Lanier Health Services / Lanier and Atkinson County EMS, Lakeland, Georgia, and Paramedic/Relief Supervisor at South Georgia Medical Center EMS. Additionally, Mr. Bauch served as a South Georgia Medical Center Emergency Department Registered Nurse; Registered Nurse and Administrative Coordinator at Louis Smith Memorial Hospital, Lakeland, Georgia.

In his spare time, Bauch enjoys spending time with family, attending church, traveling, & doing yard work.
