Moultrie, GA - A woman found severely beaten is now coming out of her coma.
Linda Kreigbaum was left for dead by the side of the road on Northside Drive in Moultrie, Georgia early Monday morning. In the hospital, doctors placed her in a drug-induced coma until she could begin healing.
The Moultrie Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for a man named Ivy Worthy in connection with the beating. Investigators don't know much about him or how they knew each other, but they do believe he lives near by.
"But we know he's from Camilla. And we believe he has active warrants in Camilla too. So he just needs to come in and turn himself in so we can hear his side of the situation," said David Underwood, Moultrie Police Department.
Investigators believe they know the motive but they will not comment on it at this time.
