TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Child pornography would be redefined in state law under a bill passed by the Florida Senate.

The Senate unanimously passed the legislation Thursday. It also bans those convicted on child pornography charges from viewing any pornography while on probation or community supervision.

Under the new definition, child pornography would also include images that are altered to depict actual children's faces or heads on sexual explicit images of adults' bodies.

Republican Sen. Kelli Stargel said her bill was inspired by a case in Polk County where men working with children were taking their pictures and altering them to make it appear as if their faces were on nude bodies.
