The Madison County Sheriff's Office is investigating human remains found in the Suwannee River just south of Highway 90.
Local fishermen found the remains Saturday afternoon, and called deputies.
Officials say the remains are heavily decomposed due to being in the river for an extended period of time.
MCSO does not expect to have an identity for at least several days.
