Bourbon And Bacon Event Benefits Student Vets

Tallahassee, FL--People are munching on some bacon and shooting it down with some bourbon for a good cause. The charitable event is to help returning veterans gain skills to successfully transition back to civilian life.

The event is being held at Madison Social in Tallahassee, which is located in the College Town area. The event is benefiting the Florida State University Student Veterans Center. The center helps students in their transition into civilian life. The tasty event is hosted by The First Commerce Credit Union. Tickets range from $30 to $60 per person. The one-day benefit ends at 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
