Leon County, FL - Students were able to show off their parents or family members who have served or are currently serving in the armed forces.
Thursday was "Bring a Vet to School Day" at Sealey Elementary in honor of Veterans Day on Monday.
Students got to stand proudly next to their loved one as each veteran and service member was recognized.
After the ceremony, the veterans stayed and spent time in their children's classrooms.
Charles Richardson, a Former U.S. Marine, visited his two young daughters. He says, "It's a comforting feeling just to know that they're proud. They are actually military babies. It's a great feeling seeing them and being honored."
The school also paid tribute to all fallen U.S. Military service men and women.
