Tallahassee, FL - September 27, 2012
On September 26th and 27th, students from Brooks County High School conducted experiments at the Grand Bay Wildlife Management Area to determine whether or not it was a healthy ecosystem.
Students tested the water oxygen content, pH, temperature, and clarity to determine the types of organisms that could survive in the wetland area. Students learned about the importance of wetlands in purifying our water and as an environmental buffer.
Mrs. McGovern, Mr. May, and Mr. Pollard took their students on this field trip.
