We all know Jimmy Buffett as an international recording superstar.
But Jimmy Buffett political campaigner, that's something we don't see very often. The man who invented Margaritaville was out performing and supporting Gwen Graham.
It's not very often you can say Parrotheads landed on the Moon. But that was exactly the scene Wednesday night as Jimmy Buffett stopped by to play some tune and endorse Graham.
Although most of the people at the concert had already voted, the goal was to get others to the polls.
"Right now we've had a lot of people that have already voted and now we need to go take all of our friends and vote and make sure they vote," said Patricia Smith.
Almost 500 people were out at the Moon listening to some of Buffett's biggest hits.
Big names have been popping up all across Florida this year in state races. Bill Clinton was at FAMU this weekend and Senator Marco Rubio came out to support Steve Southerland earlier this month.
But in the end, is this really making a difference?
"I think when we have celebrities endorsing candidates it's so incredibly important," said Karen James.
"No I don't," said Smith. "I just think it's having a lot of fun and getting together and enjoying our parties."
