Burglar Shatters Front Door Of Local Gas Station, Flees At Alarm

On 12-19-13 at approximately 4:10 a.m. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglar alarm call with glass breakage at the Speedtrack convenience store on Caverns Rd.

When the responding Officer arrived four minutes later, he found the front door glass shattered and the door standing open. Video surveillance revealed that the suspect fled when the alarm sounded. Nothing was taken.

The suspect appears to be between 5’8” and 5’11” and of medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie, dark colored jeans, and white tennis shoes with black soles, as well as gloves and a hockey mask.

The suspect approached from and left towards the west. No vehicle has been identified as of this time.
