News Release: Life Care Centers of America
THOMASVILLE, Ga. – Camellia Gardens of Life Care in Thomasville, Ga., recently earned Gold level status for the second year in a row in parent company Life Care Centers of America’s Rehab Centers of Excellence program.
Each Life Care building undergoes an annual audit of its core rehab program. Auditors (regional rehab associates with Life Care) score the rehab teams on four key areas: environment, human resources, clinical programming and systems management.
Facilities that earn a Gold score are shown to have a strong, stable therapy team that is ready to go on to develop a specialty based on the community’s individual needs. These facilities are eligible to become Rehab Centers of Excellence.
“The RCE program is about accountability,” said Brigitte Lynn, director of rehab services at Camellia Gardens of Life Care. “It takes the willingness of the whole rehab team to work toward compliance and the empowerment of our company to allow us to achieve these high standards. We couldn’t be happier.”
Lynn shared that the facility is considering two options for a specialty based on area rehab needs.
