Thomasville, GA - Here's something you don't see everyday, canary yellow bikes all throughout downtown Thomasville.
Those bikes are being used to help promote this year's Flaunt Pop It Up event put on by the Thomasville Center for the Arts and Main Street in partnership with the Hurst Boiler Company. It'll run through the month of September when downtown will be turned into a public art exhibition.
"The other part of Flaunt is a mural competition where original artists from all over come in and take historically inspired images and design and create a mural. 12 feet by 15 feet, you'll see them all over town popping up," said Darlene Crosby Blackman.
The murals and more can be seen starting September 5Th through the 27Th. For more information and the full schedule of events you can visit www.thomasvillearts.org or call 229-226-0588.
