Tallahassee FL- A car accident in Crawfordville causes back ups for miles, which led to another accident.
It all happened on Highway 319, when authorities were called to the major accident and then another moments later.
We're told the initial accident happened after one car heading south decided to make a left turn but slammed into the side of another vehicle. Traffic came to a stop on the two-lane highway. Moments later-- another car accident happened.
Florida Highway Patrol Officer Mark Baker told us, "Everybody came to a stop and one of the vehicles from the rear either didn't see or wasn't aware and rear ended the first vehicle. That car caused a chain reaction to the two vehicles in front of it."
We were told three people were transported to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. No one had any life threatening injuries. Highway 319 was opened back up around eight this evening.
