Car vs. Pedestrian, 19 Year Old Critically Hurt

Crawfordville, FL - A 19 year old woman was struck by a car in Crawfordville Wednesday night just half a mile from the county courthouse.

It happened at about 10:20pm on Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Boulevard.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports Heather Walker was struck by an Acura Integra as she walked in the west bound lane.

The FHP crash report says it was rainy and dark and there were no lights along that stretch of road.

The FHP report says alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Charges are pending.
