Franklin County, Florida- July 5, 2012
At 11:40 a.m. today, 62 year-old Robert Creamer crossed U.S. Highway 98 striking and killing John E. Parker, age 65 of Highland View, Florida.
Creamer was heading eastbound on U.S. 98 and failed to maintain a single lane crossing into the westbound lane. The left front of Creamer's Dodge Pickup truck collided with the left front of Parker's Dodge Pickup truck. The right rear of Parker's truck then struck a concrete barrier wall on the north shoulder of the road.
In the vehicle with John Parker was Agnes Parker, age 97, of Port St. Joe, Florida. Agnes Parker is listed in critical condition at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Robert Creamer of Eastpoint is listed in serious condition at Bay Medical Center.
