Cyclists headed to Cascade's Park Saturday afternoon to celebrate the last day of Tallahassee Bike Week.
Bike safety groups, cycling shops and commuter groups encouraged others to ride bicycles.
The groups say riding a bike is not only a healthy activity and a way to save money on transportation but it also reduces the carbon footprint people leave.
Organizers say the event is a great way to bring people together.
"It makes our community just a more pleasant place. If you look around you can see people here in the park having a wonderful time spending time with their families and their neighbors. It just makes Tallahassee a more wonderful place to live," Pat Maurer, Ride Share Coordinator at Commuter services said.
Tallahassee has hosted bike activities all week to celebrate. May is known nationwide as bike month.
