Chamber Mob Takes Over Tasty Pastry [SLIDE SHOW]

Tallahassee, FL - It was such a sweet way to start a Friday off right.

A mob of customers filled Tasty Pastry Bakery in Tallahassee this morning. The customers were supporting the "Chamber Mob."

Chamber Mobs are held once a month as are a way for people to join together and support local business.

Customers are encouraged to spend approximately $15 at the Chamber business that is being mobbed.

John Fabrega was one of the first customers Friday morning to support Tasty Pastry. He says, "The Chamber Mob is a great opportunity to go to places where we haven't been before. I think we all get into the habit of doing what we've done, going where we've gone. I've enjoyed seeing some places that I haven't been to before because of the Chamber Mob."

Tasty Pastry Co-Owner Debbie Cross says, "We have the best customers and this is just bringing in more. They're very appreciative to us and I'm very appreciative to them. I'm very happy to have them."

Tasty Pastry is also celebrating 50 years of service. Debbie Cross' parents first opened the bakery in April 1963 on Tennessee Street. The store is now on Market Street.
