Tallahassee, Florida - September 13, 2011
Special Olympians got a $15,000 boost from some of their biggest fans.
This morning TPD, LCSO, and FSUPD representatives handed over a $15,000 check for Special Olympians in Leon County.
Officers raised the money in the spring Capital City Challenge which invites motorcycle officers from across the state to compete in a skilled rodeo.
The money will allow special Olympics to add more sports and more athletes to its competition.
