Tallahassee, FL --
Tallahassee commissioners plan to get feedback from store owners when it comes to Tennessee Street.
At Wednesday night's city commissioner's meeting, the board proposed holding workshops with business leaders along one of the busiest intersections. Much has been made of possible changes to help attract more shoppers and pedestrian-friendly sidewalks on the street.
No vote on possible changes will be made for at least a month.
"The most appropriate way to go forward is not to vote on this item on March 14th but to hold a series of workshops with the city commission and all of those interested parties who care about what happens on that thoroughfare," said commissioner Andrew Gillum.
Gillum says dates for the workshops have not been set yet.

Let me try to follow your logic here... first, you say closing a road didn't affect traffic, then you say choking traffic increases the value of the real estate? You are tripping all over yourself trying to justify... wait a minute, you ARE commissioner Miller, aren't you?
I AM SURE YOU ARE A CITY COMMISIONER. YOU ARE DELUSIONAL TO SAY THE LEAST. WOODWARD WAS CUT OF BECAUSE COLLEGE STUDENTS COULD NOT FIGUE OUT THAT A 3000 POUND VEHICLE WOULD HURT THEM .NOW THEY WANT TO NARROW TENNESSE ST FOR THE SAME REASON. STAY OUT OF THE ROAD AND YOU WONT GET HURT.I WOULD LIKE TO SEE WHEN PROPERTY VALUES DROP ON THIS SECTION WHO MOVES IN TO BUY UP THE PROPERTY . FREINDS OF STAFF OR MAYOR MARKS MOST LIKELY
i bet you are wrong.
