Plenty of college students around the country are on spring break right now. And while most seem to party or go home for the break, others are rolling up their sleeves for a good cause.

Valdosta, GA - It's not the usual way college students like to spend Spring Break: building a house.

College students are working on a house on North Troup Street in Valdosta for a local family through Habitat for Humanity. These are volunteers from Davidson University in North Carolina. They chose to forego a week of partying or relaxing to instead get their hands dirty, literally.

"It's fun, it's definitely different. I've never done any manual construction but it's been a great experience. Something different that school work all day long," said Hannah Sikes.

"We've stayed with several churches that have been feeding us every meal. The southern cooking has been great," said Cy Ferguson.

They're all freshmen and all here with the Bonner Scholarship Program, a program that offers tuition assistance through community service. They work for five days only. The house will be finished next week by a second batch of students.

"It's a great feeling to know that we're sore and tired but somebodies going to get to live in a house. Somebody is going to get a brand new house and that's a great thing to give back," Sikes said.

And after a long day at work they celebrated the way any college student should: by doing the Harlem Shake.

They staged their own video, adding to the national viral dance craze. They even got a professional clown in on the action. Who says you can't have fun at work?
