News Release: Big Bend Hospice: Statement
July 25, 2014

“On behalf of the Big Bend Hospice Board of Directors, the Big Bend Hospice Foundation Board of Trustees and employees, we express our sincere condolences to the McCully family for the recent loss of a wife, mother, matriarch and community servant in Mrs. Jean McCully.
More than thirty years ago, Jean served as a true catalyst to help establish Big Bend Hospice, and since our doors have opened, Jean’s inspiration and volunteer efforts have driven our mission of providing compassionate care to individuals with a life-limiting illness, comfort to their families and emotional support to anyone who has lost a loved one.

Even more, Jean’s inspiration and love prepared the Big Bend Hospice family for the humbling opportunity to provide care, and share the journey with Jean and the McCully family during life’s most precious transition.

Our heartfelt thoughts are with the McCully family, and the many friends both near and far whose lives have been touched by Jean.”
