Chattahoochee - Businessman, Stanley Wells, tried addressing his complaints at Tuesday night's city commissioners meeting. But council members told him the investigation is a private matter for Garner and that they will not address the matter while it is still under investigation.

Wells is accusing Garner of misappropriation of funds when it comes to grant money for certain projects. He listed a few of those projects but would not reveal how he came upon the information. One of those projects include some renovations at Southside Park .

We spoke to Garner by phone to get his comment about the ethics complaint filed against him. He did not want to talk on record and instead referred us to his attorney.

WCTV tried calling the attorney, but there was no answer, and as of yet, we have not heard back.

In the past, I have done alot of business with the flower shop that has managed to succumb to such foolishness, but I won't EVER give them another penny. I don't care if I have to drive to Sneads, Marianna or Tallahassee for flowers and such as it will be worth the gas money. Crooks! Crooks! Crooks! Wake up and get yourselves in church!!!

They unanimously passed a resolution last week to keep guns out of the classrooms and off university grounds. The faculty senate is standing in opposition to house bill 981. The bill proposed allowing citizens the right to carry concealed weapons into bars.. churches.. college campuses and even elementary schools.
