A man charged in connection with the murder of his estranged wife Sunday Blombergh was sentenced this afternoon.

Theo Conoly was charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
Prosecutors say Conoly plead guilty this afternoon in a Tift County courtroom and was sentenced to ten years in prison and must testify against his mother Ruby Evans.

Conoly's step father, Herman Evans, has already been sentenced to life for Blombergh's murder in April, 2010. Conoly's mother has a September 24th court date. Prosecutors say Herman Evans, shot Blombergh in the head, and then stabbed and strangled her.

Herman Evans has already pled guilty to murder and is serving a life sentence.

There is still an indictment pending against Conoly’s mother, Ruby Evans, for felony murder, aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit murder.

Ruby Evans’ court date is set for September 24th.

Conoly was also fined $3,000 and cannot have any contact with Blombergh’s young daughter.
