Convicted Felon Arrested On Gun Charges [READ PROBABLE CAUSE]

By  |

According to the Tallahassee Police Department

A convicted felon has been arrested after firing shots in a local apartment complex.

According to one eye witness, he heard shouting, and then observed a man running through the complex. The witness then said he saw Truesdell running after the man, who was already gone. At that point, he observed Truesdell pull out a gun and fire several shots into the air.

Upon arrival, the arresting officer was already familiar with Truesdell, because he had worked a criminal mischief call for him two days prior.

It was later determined that Truesdell is a convicted felon, and a record’s check on the gun found under his mattress revealed that the gun was stolen.

Michael Truesdell has been charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, grand theft of firearm, and discharging a firearm in public.
