ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- The Florida Highway Patrol says a load of lumber spilled onto Interstate 4 near Orlando after the driver lost control of his truck during a coughing fit.
The truck was heading west on I-4 when it hit a concrete barrier early Friday morning.
A second vehicle hit the lumber and overturned several times, coming to rest on the highway's right shoulder. The driver received minor injuries.
Two more vehicles hit the lumber in the roadway, including an ambulance that was responding to the crash.
FHP says the truck driver was ticketed for careless driving.
The crash caused an early-morning traffic jam, but all lanes are now open.
