High Speed Chase Ends in Crash on Tallahassee Roadway [SLIDE SHOW & PROBABLE CAUSE ATTACHED]

Tallahassee, FL - Rontrail Spencer was arrested in connection with stealing a car and taking police on a high speed chase that ended in a firey crash on Monday afternoon. The probable cause for his arrest was released by police Tuesday morning.

Tallahassee, FL - A man steals and crashes a vehicle in a local neighborhood. He is now behind bars.

Police say that man stole a black Ford Taurus from someone at Seminole Discount Liquor, that's located at 1917 Pensacola Street.

TPD says the suspect was followed by a LCSOS helicopter, that allowed police to chase him into a neighborhood off of Ridge Road.

The vehicle then crashed into a ditch and caught fire. The suspect was ejected from the car then treated for his injuries.

Police say his condition was fine as they took him away from the scene.

It's still an active scene and neighbors are a little bit more at ease that the suspect is accounted for.

At this time, no information has been released on the victim.

Tallahassee, FL - Tallahassee police are responding to a crime scene in the 3200 block of North Ridge Rd.

One witness says it appeared to be a police pursuit, and that a car's tires were shot out. He also reported that US Marshals were on the scene. According to the witness, police have blocked off from Springsax Rd. to Creek Rd.
