A group of cyclists traveling across the country arrived in Tallahassee, Saturday to help out a local organization.
About thirty people from Bike and Build came from Jacksonville.
They helped Good News Outreach fix up low income housing at Maryland Oaks Crossing.
The group will spend the summer biking to California and making stops to do service work in cities along the way.
"We want to make affordable housing available to anybody who needs it. A lot of people don't have the same resources that some people were blessed with. We just want to make it open and available to as many people as we can," Elle Martin a rider with Bike and Build said.
Many low-income single parents and their children live at Maryland Oaks Crossing.
Leaders from Good News Outreach say it's a huge help having the group work on their homes.
