Deputies at the Leon County Sheriff's office had a chance to spread some holiday cheer.
Folks in the department were at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital today to make some children happy. The patients were given presents to help with their time in the children's center of the building.
Deputies went room-to-room handing out stuffed animals. Those we spoke with say it's a great way to give back to those dealing with medical issues.
"It's very very neat," said Rachel Keller of the LCSO. "Even one smile and sometimes you have to coax it out of them but to get one smile out of them is worth it. We don't always get to see this side of it doing what we do, so it's neat."
