JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says a man is recovering after being shot while driving on Interstate 95.
The shooting occurred late Sunday night near Golfair Boulevard in Jacksonville.
The Florida Times-Union reports the man told police he was driving south on the interstate around 11 p.m. when someone in another vehicle started shooting at him.
Police say the man crashed after he was shot. Friends in another vehicle took him to a hospital, where he was treated for injuries that weren't considered life-threatening.
The sheriff's office's Violent Crimes Task Force is investigating.
