On Tuesday, September 4, 2012, Leon County Sheriff’s Vice Detectives spotted Dale Daniels, 29, driving his Chevrolet Impala in the area of Miccosukee Road and Surgeons Drive. Detectives knew
Daniels had two outstanding drug warrants for his arrest and initiated a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Miccosukee Rd.
Daniels fled on foot, but detectives were able to apprehend him.
Detectives located a plastic bag in Daniels' pocket which contained cocaine, MDMA, and Oxycodone packaged for sale. After detectives
removed the drugs from Daniels, he attempted to pull away and run from detectives again, this time while he was in handcuffs. A search of Daniel's vehicle also revealed two handguns and additional
drug paraphernalia.
