Tallahassee, FL--The flag celebrates the organ and tissue donors who help save thousands of lives across the country.
TMH Nurses and doctors came together in honor of National Organ and Tissue Awareness Month.
Community members whose lives have been affected by organ donors, also shared their stories.
"I know what the benefit of organ donation is from hearing the statistics about how many people can be helped with one person how many different organs that reach out to people, to change their lives, I understand that." said Patty Esher, from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Florida has the second largest registry in the United States, with more than a million registered.
Donate Life is a not-for-profit organization helping increase the amount of organs, eyes and tissue donors.
