50K in Damages at Tallahassee Mobile Home Blaze

Tallahassee, Florida - November 25, 2012 - At around 5 a.m. Sunday morning, Tallahassee Fire Department units from Stations 13, 3 & 1 responded to a double wide mobile home fire in the 11900 Block of Woodville Highway.

A single occupant woke up to the sound of crackeling and called 9-1-1. Firefighters arrived to heavy fire throughout the home and extinguished the blaze without incident.

No injuries reported and damages were estimated at $50,000 and resulted in a total loss to the home. LCEMS and LCSO assisted at the scene. Cause of the fire believed to be electrical.
