Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone!
Cooler and drier weather has worked back into our region. We kicked things off on the cool side today, with an official low of 47 degrees at the Tallahassee airport. This is about 10 degrees below average for this time of the year. Highs today will be much warmer than where they were yesterday, near 78 degrees.
Do you have outdoor cinco de Mayo plans? Today's not a bad day to get out! We're starting with mostly sunny skies, but we'll see a mix of sun and clouds throughout the region today. No rain to start either! All of the rain from yesterday has pushed out of our region. There's a low pressure system to our north that might kick up a few rain chances today, although most of us stay dry. We have a 20% chance of picking up a shower, with the highest chance being in South Georgia.
Tonight's temperatures are getting cool once again, with a low near 48 degrees.
