Valdosta, GA -The Unitarian Universalist Church was burglarized over the weekend. The pastor and congregation came in on Sunday to find an elaborate drum set worth nearly a thousand dollars gone. Police are searching pawn shops in the area and are asking for the publics help if they have any information.

Lieutenant Aaron Kirk of the Valdosta Police Department said "it just shows that, you know, criminals are not going to discriminate. Some criminals don't have, you know, don't really care what they're breaking into. They're just trying to get some easy money. So they located the church and apparently there was no signs of forced entry so it's a possibility that a door was left unlocked."

The Unitarian Church is located at 1951 East Park Avenue.
