Court records show that Tammy Hamlet has signed a deferred prosecution agreement that could result in the charges against her being dropped.
Hamlet was arrested last year and accused of filing false travel claims totaling more than $1800.
Court records show Hamlet signed a deal in January. Her attorney says if she pays the money back the charges will be dismissed.

Tammy Hamlet has been fired from FAMU effective immediately.
Interim President Larry Robinson notified her of her termination in a letter today.
A FAMU Spokeswoman says Hamlet had worked at the university since 2001 and had been director of university events since 2008. She made $83,190 a year.

FDLE has made its first arrest in a probe.of financial irregularities at FAMU.
FDLE spokeswoman Gretl Plesinger says 45 year old Tammy Hamlet of Tallahassee turned herself in at the Leon County Jail Monday night and was released on her own recognizance.
Hamlet is the Director of University events. She was charged with eight counts of filing false travel claims.
Plesinger says.the claims were filed between July 2010 and June 2011 and totaled $1821.41. She says the charges are misdemeanors.
Plesinger says the investigation is ongoing and could wrap up within the next few weeks. She would not comment on whether there would be any more arrests.
