FAMU President Search Focus Group

Tallahassee, FL - Florida A&M wants to know what the community is looking for in a new president.

A subcommittee is preparing to meet with alumni, faculty and students tonight to update them on the presidential search.

Tonight, the marketing and communications subcommittee met in the famu grand ballroom and what is unique about the town hall meeting is that they are looking to hear from input from the public.

Mainly they'll be listening to alumni, faculty, staff and students to hear who they hope will be the new president.

Now of course the university has been searching for a president since Dr. James Ammons sent in his letter of resignation back in July.

The entire board of trustees will be there taking questions and comments.

Interim president Dr. Larry Robinson will also be at this evening's event.

There is a number if you want to listen to the even and can't attend in person.

The number is 1-800-309-9169, and the conference id number that you then have to punch in is 378-502-44.
