Tallahassee, FL - The FSU College of Medicine is gearing people up for a dance marathon tonight. They're holding a fundraiser to start the fun off early and raise money for a good cause.

The Hawaiian theme for tonight's fundraiser is based off of a Jimmy Buffett song.

The Dance Marathon is an event many schools host each year. It's to raise money to go to a children's hospital. The FSU Dance Marathon sends money to Shands in Gainesville. But they give half of the money they raise to the College of Medicine to give money locally to programs benefiting children's health.

The event tonight will include a check presentation.
