Tallahassee, FL - It's not everyday you see a life-size beach ball on Florida State's campus.

Get on the ball. It's an annual philanthropy held by FSU fraternity Zeta Beta Tau.

"We're supporting the Children's Miracle Network," said Josh Barrocas, former president of ZBT and FSU senior.

They ask people to sign the ball, in turn sponsors they acquired will donate money for each signature.

"I can actually go and point to it and I know that I've helped out a good cause," said Brooke Renney, FSU student.

For many students it's a simple signature to help out children, but for Renney, it means more than just that.

"It is close to my heart because I have actually been to Shands Children's hospital and benefited from Children's Miracle Network when I was a kid, so I'm pretty passionate about it," she said.

ZBT members have been out since this weekend, pushing the beach balls around campus, gathering signatures and will do so until Friday.

"It means a lot to me personally. It's a very humbling experience, getting to actually meet some of the kids where these proceeds go out and benefit them," Barrocas said.

ZBT hopes to make a difference in the lives of children, while having a little fun doing it.
