Tallahassee, FL--A legendary college rivalry will take to tabletops across Florida for a great cause this season.The United Way of the Big Bend and the United Way of Miami have teamed up to host the first ever "Tabletop Flick Football Championship." It will benefit United Way efforts for both counties. The Tallahassee Tournament will be held on Saturday, October 12TH at Leon High on Mahan Drive.
The winner will go to play the winning Hurricane fan in the Championship Match in Tallahassee November 2ND, before the Noles take on Miami.
"Energize the whole community both for Tallahassee and Miami," said John Hogan, from the United Way. "They are both big time college football towns and we're trying to find a fun way to get people engaged in things we think will help both United Way campaigns."
The Champion Flicker Will receive tickets to the 2014 and 2015 Miami and Noles football games. Players of all ages are encouraged to play.
