Tallahassee, FL - October 1, 2012

"We were very close to him, he was like a father to us," said Linda Hansen, talking about her late Uncle Albert.

71-year old Albert Seaburg was on his way to visit one of his nieces in Ft. Lauderdale in September of 1997. He was driving through Tallaahssee and stopped to spend the night at the Best Inn Tallahassee motel. On the night of September 4th, Seaburg was killed in an apparent robbery attempt.

"I assumed he was in a car accident because he was on a driving trip to Florida, I get home and find out he was murdered," said nephew Robert Hansen.

Even with a composite sketch of a potential suspect and a $25,000 reward, the case has gone cold.

"We've had a few tips but nothing ever panned out," said Robert.

The Tallahasee Best Inn Motel no longer exists but the family's hope still does. His nieces and nephew want justice for their uncle 15 years later.

"Things do happen years later, somebody will say something and you never know. It would mean closure," said Linda.
