TALLAHASSEE POLICE DEPARTMENT MEDIA RELEASE:
Yesterday (12/11) at approximately 9:30PM, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to Orange Avenue and Rankin Avenue in reference to a traffic crash.
Upon arrival, during the preliminary investigation officers discovered that a silver Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling west on Orange Avenue and veered into the eastbound lane causing a head-on collision with a silver Honda.
Drivers of both vehicles were transported to the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
The driver of the silver Honda succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The 44-year-old deceased was identified as Liang Yang of Tallahassee.
