Fire Sends One to Hospital, Costs 15K in Damages

Tallahassee Fire Department Release

Tallahassee, FL - On December 3, 2012 The Tallahassee Fire Department was called to 3729 Crawfordville Hwy. in reference to a storage building fire. Upon arrival E-3,T-3,and B/C-3 found a storage unit with a car parked inside and on fire. The fire was extinguished quickly with 13/4 line and one civilian patient was taken to the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Emergency Room for minor burns. The fire was electrical in nature and believed to have started in the engine compartment of the vehicle.

Damage is estimated at 15,000 dollars.

Leon County Emergency Medical Services also helped at the scene.
