TFD Update: Cause of Cercy house fire determined to be electrical and started in the breaker box.

At 10:16 this morning, firefighters from stations 1, 2, 7, and 9 responded to a possible building fire at the 2000 block of Cercy Terrace.
The incident was called in by a neighbor who had seen smoke coming from the building. On arrival, firefighters found flames coming from the first and second floors of the structure. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames and determined that no one was inside.
No injuries were reported, and Red Cross was called out to assist the displaced occupants. Damages were estimated to be at $80,000 and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

A neighbor reported seeing smoke coming from the roof of the house this morning, called 911, and then reported watching flames burst out soon after.
The owner says it's the second property he's owned in Tallahassee that has caught fire.
