Chattahoochee Family Whose Home was Destroyed by Fire in Need of Donations

Chattahoochee, FL --May 20, 2012--

A Chattahoochee family whose home was destroyed by a fire is seeking donations.

The family's Water Street home was destroyed by a fire Thursday 5-17-12 night.

The family of six says it is need of towels and toiletries.

All donations can be sent to Ricky Copeland at 27 Marion Street in Chattahoochee, FL.

A Chattahoochee family is without a home after a fire destroyed their house late Thursday night 5-17-12

The Chattahoochee Fire Department says the fire started in the rear of a home on Water Street around 9 p.m.. A woman and two children were inside the home at the time of the fire.

All three made it out safely. The fire department says the home was fully engulfed in flames when it arrived. Firefighters say it took them about 30 minutes to get the fire under control. No one was hurt.

At this time, the fire appears to be accidental.
