Tallahassee FL- Following the big countdown, millions of fireworks will be lit across the nation. We caught up with one local firework stand who told us safety is their number one concern. Although fireworks get a bad reputation for being unsafe, much of the safety concerns can be managed with the right know-how.

MIke's Fire Works manager, Victoria Osborne told us, "My job here is to teach them how to do things in the safest possible way so that nobody gets hurt. Because you know they are fun. They are beautiful they are fun and the whole family loves them. There is not one American that doesn't like to watch fireworks not one."

Osborne told us the biggest point she tells buyers is to make sure they are getting something they can handle and secure properly with plenty of sky clearence. They have been working mikes fireworks for ten years and she told us there isn't a single fire work she doesn't know about.
